Chapter IV "Domino"

It’s easy to get used to a new life style especially after your last way of living crashed and failed to get you somewhere. It had been a week since Roger had moved in with Greg and so far it had been great.
Roger and Greg had given the house an extreme makeover in order to make it feel and look more like their home and not an old lady’s house. They even got an air hockey table with part of the money Greg made from the garage sale.
Roger had started to run in the mornings again. And he was happy to do so in a better neighborhood, and one he already knew and liked.
If living with your best friend its great, living next door from your other two best friends it’s something else entirely. The last two weeks Roger, Greg, Sarah and Rose had been hanging a lot more than usual. And since they all worked very close to each other car pulling and lunch together was part of their now daily lives.
“Is there anything better than having blueberry pancakes for breakfast at your own house?” Chocolate chip, blueberry or regular it didn’t matter, Roger liked any kind of pancakes for breakfast.
“What about having them at your own house for a change?” Rose had been cooking for them the whole week. She liked to be the host but she wasn’t too eager to accept it, she rather have all of them thanking her and acknowledging her cooking skills.
“We offered to host a meal in our place but all you left us was afternoon snacks and popcorn for movie night.”
“And even then you brought your own home made brownies.” Why was Greg complaining? He had devoured the whole batch of brownies all by himself.
“Never mind, who wants another one?”
“Not me, I have a date tonight so I’m cutting back having double portions of food.” Sarah was going on a second date with Chase, the guy she had met in the garage sale.
“So the garage sale guy again?” Greg sounded helpless as he asked Sarah about the guy he would rather give his money back than having him dating the girl he loved.
“Chase, he is a contractor; he is taking me to his work site to do some demolition.” This was the first time she had sounded excited about seeing a guy.
“I’m glad to see you back to your own self back.” Rose had to be the happiest of them all to see Sarah back to normal since she was the one living with her and at the mercy of her mood swings.
“Well it was about time Joe and I where together for 5 months so all I needed where 5 weeks to heal it up and that was it.”
“Seriously that was your method? So all I need are 24 weeks for the two years Lucy and I were together? That is almost half a year of mourning”
“I can’t have a half-year-mood-swing-roommate.”
“I don’t think that is the best option for you, isn’t there another ritual of getting over someone he could use.” Rose had turn off the stove, poured herself a cup of coffee and sat down because the conversation had just turned interesting.
Everyone looked back at Sarah.
“Well the amount of months together in tequila shots is another option.”
“Already done that.”
“And then some.” Greg added.
“Not helped?” Asked Rose.
“Not whit the heartbreak, no.”
“Ok what about the plant, pet, person theory.”
“The what now?” Roger looked beyond confused.
“The PPPT, it bases on the theory that if you can handle keeping a plant alive then you get a pet and if you successfully keep it alive then you can date again, I’m not quite sure on the time you have to keep the plant and the pet alive.”
“Isn’t that for sex addicts?”
“It can apply here, I mean you and Lucy were not very discreet with the PDA you know?”
Rose and Greg shared a laugh.
“So you suggest I get a ficus, cactus or whatever unless it’s green?” Roger didn’t sound so eager about that.
“I think we can skip the plant part and go right for the pet first.”
“What kind of pet do you suggest?”
“I think you should get a dog.” Sarah smiled proudly like if she had just performed brain surgery on her friend.
Roger and Greg shared a look; Greg looked very excited about it. So it was settled Roger would get a dog he thought it wouldn’t be so hard he had had dogs before, but not one like the one he was about to adopt.
The only one of the gang that wasn’t having such a good week was Alex whose boss was giving him a hard time about Frank’s band absence.
Alex had come with a lot of excuses for him not presenting for the audition. First he said there had been a misunderstanding with both the time and date of the audition.
After that excuse had run its course and Alex still hadn’t been able to get in touch with neither Frank nor Ethel, despite his every effort, so he had explained his bosses that the manager of the band had interpreted the concert as an audition so that they didn’t expect to make another one; even when this was contradictory from the first excuse Alex was lucky enough his bosses didn’t noticed that.
The third and last excuse landed in the health area. Alex said that one of the band members was having a bad case of food poisoning and that she was an essential part of the band so they couldn’t play without her.
Alex was on the fence, because he didn’t knew where Frank was a neither the members of his family. If Alex hadn’t done such a good proving his bosses he was the best employee they could have hired during the last couple of years he would definitely be out of a job right now.
That morning Alex would have to make up a forth excuse, and so far he was running out of ideas.
“Mr. Doyle?” Brian was always very proper when it came to referring to his boss.
“Please call me Alex while I’m still your boss, very soon we could be both without jobs, then you can call me Mr.” Some humor before the upending firing.
“I think our jobs are safe for the time being, Mr. Summers just called he is coming right up as we speak.”
“Brian we really need to talk about your aversion to first names, Mr. Summers could be Roger, Logan, Max and last and less likely Frankie, so who’s coming?” By now Alex was very skeptical about Frankie’s arrival.
“That would be Frank Summers Mr.…err, Alex…boss.” Brian would need some time to learn to refer to his boss in first name basis, but he would get there.
Alex face changed, he was saved; relieved he got across the room and gave a hug to Brian whom didn’t know how to respond. This job was everything to Alex and he was not afraid to show it, especially after having his head on the line.
“Are you sure? Because I had nothing to explain why he wasn’t here this time.”
“Positive, I made sure; he will be here any minute now.
And he was. Standing in the door was nothing else than Frank Summers along side with his band but no Ethel.
“We are here! Where do you want us?” Part of Frank’s charm was being more than a week late and act like nothing was happening
“Brian could you take the band to the recording studio on the fifth floor, I’ll go tell the people that write our checks that we are ready for the audition.” It was very subtle how Alex said he wanted to talk to Frank before they play.
“I’ll take them right away.” Brian walked pass Frankie and lead the band to the elevator and down to the fifth floor.
“So want me to go with you for your bosses? Play a little of the Frankie’s charm?” Frank wasn’t a bad person, but he did lived in his own world where nothing bad ever happen, no consequences; he was the type of person whose life always turned fine, like if everything was handed to him no fuss no extra effort needed.
“Frank what the fudge?” He probably used another word, but it sounded like that.
“What up man?”
“Don’t you notice you are a little late for the audition?”
“You wanted us an hour earlier?”
“Try a week earlier Frankie; you where supposed to play a week ago, I have been busting my brain trying to make up excuses for your absence while trying to get in touch with you which wasn’t very successful either.”
“Oh, I’m sorry man Ethel and I went to Toronto, something about a family emergency for her. I didn’t notice a week had passed. But no harm done we are here so let’s get to it right?” No consequence, what’s past is passed and nothing else he could do about it now, which was Frank’s way of thinking and living.
“You could have called, text or mailed man.”
“I thought Ethel did, I was in Canada nothing much really going on there I lost track of time.” Frank laughed, he wasn’t trying to apologize because he didn’t thought it was such a big deal.
Alex realized it didn’t matter anymore, the band was here so they could perform, kick ass and his job would be safe.
“The band is getting ready now.” Brain was back, he and Alex shared a look of relieve, it didn’t matter anymore, the band was here and that was that.
“Thanks dude. Hey Alex really sorry no harsh feeling right?”
“Sure Frankie, you should go with your band mates, get ready.”
Frankie smiled, and reached to give Alex a brotherly hug. Showed how the oldest of the Summers brothers knew how to get out of a difficult situation without knowing it.
“So let’s get to it, see you downstairs.” Frank left and gave another hug to Brain whose facial expression changed after detecting a weird smell on Frank.
Alex took a breath of relief his morning was improving. They heard the elevator door close Frank was now on his way to his band, so Alex should be on his way to his boss’s office.
“Boss… Alex.”
“I know, talk about a close call right?”
“Yeah no you are right, but there is something else.”
“Can it wait? We should go get everyone else”
“Well it’s probably nothing but, just now as Mr. Summers hug me I kind of got a strange smell out of him, I don’t know probably just my allergies or something.” That had been enough first names for Brain for one day.
“You noticed it too?” Alex had, but he tried to fool himself about it thinking that he could be wrong about it.
“Yes, I think I know what IT is but I hope I’m wrong because if it is true then we are in trouble but if I’m wrong I don’t want to make a big deal about it and come out as a sniffing freak so I hope I’m right also, but that is bad too.” Brain was starting to ramble.
“Let’s say nothing now, let them play and we will deal with it later.”
“But what if we are right? What if it really is…”
“Weed?” Alex was the only one able to said it out loud.
Brain said nothing.
“Well if it is then I’ll talk to him and take it from there, now let’s go they are waiting.”
Alex didn’t want to think about it, he had just came out of big trouble and wasn’t going to dig himself in a new one. Besides this was something that he should discuss to Frank first, and if needed with his family. But for now, he and his bosses went to see the audition which came out brilliant; again Alex had impressed his company and secure his place in it.
After the audition Alex’s worries started to fade, he even though he and Brain were over reacting and felt a little stupid about it; up until the point he saw Frank coming out of the restroom after twenty minutes inside; he looked very relaxed and now the smell was very noticeable, Alex said nothing, he saw Frank left with one of his band members, they just waved goodbye.
Alex would have to talk to Roger; but he would have to wait because this morning Roger was off with Max to the Seattle Mercy Heart Animal Shelter to see if they could find the perfect dog for him.
Roger and Max were wandering through the halls of the animal shelter, taking a look in every cage and trying to figure out which dog was suited better for Roger.
Roger had only had one dog in his life, well without counting Peanut which he didn’t like anyway, a German Sheppard named Gonzo Emma had one day found in the street and brought home.
Sadly for Gonzo and the rest of the family Risa turned out to be very allergic and the dog had to go; no one actually thought that maybe Risa really didn’t liked dogs and faked the whole thing.
“So how much have you missed me since you moved out?” Max had really enjoyed Roger move in back home and was trying to black mail him to move back or let him move in with them.
“Actually a lot, why do you think I’m getting a dog in the first place? I need something that swallows and not chews his food.” Said Roger while passing next to a Saint Bernard that looked like it had been feed twice today.
“I’m very flattered, so you don’t think you could use two of those things?” Max pointed at a couple of schnauzers that where very interested in the two brothers conversation.
“Two dogs? Let’s see how we do with the one first.” The schnauzers lost interest.
“I could help you with two of them, or if the first one is a handful.” A beagle running in circles in her cage proved Max that some dogs are a lot of work for their owners.
“And how exactly are you going to handle been a freshman and dog sitting well my dog?” The idea really sounded lame, because a dog doesn’t need staff to take care of him and because Roger really had the time to take care of it.
“Well, about been a freshman…” Max was having a change of heart regarding his future and the first one he was going to share it with it was with his brother.
“Max what is going on? You are starting college in a few weeks right?” Roger suddenly stopped and gave his brother the same look an English bulldog was giving them, very attentive and trying to figure out what were they thinking.
“Yes I will, education is important and all that; the thing is I’m not so sure about the school.”
“What do you mean? Alex, Emma and I went there; it’s a great school especially for your plan of becoming a lawyer.”
“Yeah about that.”
“Seriously? You no longer want to be a lawyer?”
“Not really, no; I rather go to culinary school.” There were two things that Max was really passionate about: food and TV shows and movies featuring crime, lawyers and criminals.
“Well it’s your decision, who else is going to live your life? As long as you are happy with your decision I’ll back you up.”
“Thanks bro, that really makes this easier.”
“Still you have to tell mom and dad.”
“Now not so much easier; I was actually thinking of not telling them right away.”
“You are going to pull a Lorenzo?”
“What does that mean exactly?”
“Few people really know.” And they do.
“You think they will be mad?”
“Have you met our parents?”
“Yeah I know, sometimes I forget we don’t have normal parents.”
“It will all be fine, don’t worry; I bet mom will be delighted you no longer want to be a lawyer, and dad will be very pleased to play your Guiney pig.”
The two of them had not really been paying attention to any of the dogs around them, and most of them had really lost their interest in the two boys also, all of them except for a Dalmatian which was standing in his two paws looking at them.
“Weird dog.” Max was really fixed in how the dog was watching them.
“I think he likes us.”
The dog barked and started to jump around.
“That or he is under medication.”
“Have you two boys made a decision?” Mrs. Dale Nash a fifty year old animal lover was the coordinator of the animal shelter; she felt like a match maker when she helped people take home a pet.
“Anything you can tell us about this guy? His name perhaps” The Dalmatian had stopped jumping and had sat down like if he was about to be questioned.
“Sadly he doesn’t have a name; he is just one year old and has been adopted and returned way too many times, the match making with him hasn’t been that an easy job.”
The dog’s eyes were stuck on Roger and for a moment the two of them looked at each other and knew they were exactly what they most needed; a symbiosis of some kind.
“I’ll take him.” The dog resumed to jump around.
“Are you sure? I would hate to see you here to return him.”
“I’m sure, trust me Mrs. Nash I’ll take good care of him.”
“Alright then, I trust you; come met your dog and I’ll go to my office to do the paper work.” Mrs. Nash opened the door of the dog’s cage and he bolted out into Roger’s arms. It was friendship at first sight.
“How are you going to call him? Spot? Freckles? ” Max leaned on to pet the dog.
“Mmmm no, how about Domino?”
“Like the game?”

“Yeah exactly white with black spots.”
“Aren’t some dominos in different colors?”
“We can paint him for Halloween.”
Domino actually looked exactly about that, the three of them walked out of the animal shelter and Mrs. Nash felt relieve so see one of the most problematic dogs she had ever had leave with someone she knew would never return him.
For Rose there were two things in this world that really frighten her, heights and dentists so it was obvious for her to be very stressed the day she had to see her dentist whose office was on a tenth floor.
For a person that fears heights using and elevator is out of the question, but Rose was already late and it was either use the elevator or use the stairs and be late for her appointment which would make her dentist mad.
Rose had a way to calm herself from the way she left her house, trough the elevator ride and during her dentist appointment; sadly her ritual wouldn’t work for what life had planned for her today, actually it would help her overcome her fears for both heights and dentists.
The elevator door opened, there was no one else in there which she appreciated, now she would only have to endure no more than a minute to be on the tenth floor if the elevator wasn’t called, but that wasn’t going to be the case.
The elevator started going up.
First floor.
Second floor.
Third floor.
Fourth floor.
Stop.
Rose took a deep breath, trying to calm herself as the elevator door opened to reveal Rose’s Murphy’s luck and who had called the elevator.
James.
“Well I’ll be damned, fancy meeting you here Dr. Doyle.” For Rose’s bad luck James was still Englishly charming to her.
“Hi, please come in.” She wasn’t thinking straight.
“Don’t mind if I do doctor.” James found Rose’s clumsiness very attractive and quite charming.
James got in the elevator and anyone looking at him could tell he was happy to see Rose, his smile gave him away. And anyone could tell Rose was also happy to see him but she didn’t like to be, she was confused about her feelings.
The elevator started to go up again.
“So how’s Dan doing?”
“Much better now thanks to you.”
“I’m glad happy to help always I can.” Rose wasn’t making any sense but it actually made James smile.
“I went to see you the other day.”
“You did?” Rose had forgot about the last time she had seen James when she escaped from her office and into the parking lot of the animal clinic, Matt’s proposal of living overseas together had been all she had on her mind but right now all her mind was set on was the man standing next to him.
James was about to confess he has bought a parrot just to have an excuse to see her when suddenly the lights went out and the elevator stopped between the eight and the ninth floor.
“What the fudge?” Rose almost never used that word.
“The power probably just went out; it has been doing that very often.” He was very calm about it.
“Just? Just? Like we will JUST be dead then, hanging at a gazillion feet above the wait a minute, what do you mean it has been doing it very often? How do you know that? Do you JUST ride elevators in random buildings to see how many of them JUST suddenly stop?”
“Calm down Rose, there is nothing to worry about; the power will be back I no time and we will be out of here.” He actually sounded a little disappointed about that.
“Ok that sounds better.” Rose was calming down because James was now holding her hands.
James pushed the alarm button but nothing besides it falling down happen.
“Bloody hell they told me this could happen, it’s a new alarm system of some sort.”
“Ok seriously dude what’s whit you and the elevator stopping fiesta.”
“I work here actually I’m a dentist.” Just what Rose needed to be trapped in an elevator with a dentist, but instead she was actually very calm with James in there.
“You are? Are you kidding me?”Rose wasn’t tense anymore, she was sitting down on the floor but still very excited to be trapped with him, no matter what his profession might be.
“I assure you I’m not.” He was now sitting with Rose cracking up a soda can he had with him and sharing it with her.
“Do you work on the tenth floor with Dr. Abrams? “
“No I work in the third floor actually, I must confess a fear of heights and Dr. Abrams is a bit scary; I was just going up to get something from him.” How perfect for Rose that James also had a fear of heights, she thought maybe she was helping him cope with it.
Rose laughed and James smiled back at him, for the next three and a half hours they were trapped together they shared stories, jokes anecdotes and laughs and none of them mentioned how high they were.
It was perfect until James made the wrong question.
“So do you have a boyfriend?” He asked in a tone that reflected vulnerability and fear what the answer might be.
Rose took a moment and then she made the wrong answer.
“No, actually I don’t.” She smiled at him and just when he was about to ask her out the power went back on, the elevator started to move again and the door opened in the tenth floor. Rose step out of it as fast as she could.
Back at work Greg was like every other day doing nothing. Dr Weathers was back and had apologize for his breakdown due to the dead of Greg’s grandma; so everything was finally back to normal Dr. Weathers was seen patients and Greg wasn’t.
Right now Dr. Weathers was in session with a new patient, Nicholas Dewitt, age 55, recently widowed and brought by one of his daughters, Millie.
Millie was concern about her father because he wasn’t dealing with her mother’s dead at all; she was that kind of girl always taking care of people her brothers, her sisters, her dad, her dying mom and her students; she was a kinder garden teacher.
Mr. Dewitt’s appointment would take a while, he was a very stubborn man that didn’t really believed in therapy but not even he could say no to his favorite daughter; Millie had a way to get people do what was right for them, her sweet face and perfect smile could make anyone fell warm, loved and unable to say no to her, especially her dad and she knew that he needed help to mourn her mother.
Anyone would turn to catch a glimpse of Millie when she passed by, but Greg had been twenty minutes sitting in front of her but not noticed her, too bad because she had noticed him.
Millie was intrigued about Greg and she didn’t knew why, she had picked up an architect’s magazine that Mr. Nelson had left there when he came for his appointment due to his kleptomania, ironically enough he had stolen the magazine in his way to Dr. Weathers office and left it there after his appointment.
But Millie wasn’t interested in architecture at all and neither was Mr. Nelson.
Still Millie was taking peeks at Greg whom was just doodling over a piece of paper, he was a little blue over Sarah’s new guy Chase and the fact that once again he had just lost his chance with her; he didn’t noticed she had just walked in.
“Is that a doodle?” Sarah really liked saying that word.
“It’s a doodle.” Greg hadn’t notice whom he was talking to.
“I didn’t knew you cold doodle.”
“Anyone can doodle.”
“Maybe I’ll give doodle a try.” Sarah was having fun with this conversation but now Greg had noticed her and he was a bit embarrassed.
“You should do doodle, I do, do doodle too.” Rambling.
“So are you too busy doodling that you didn’t noticed the cute girl over there checking you out?”
“Are we rambling again?”
“Seriously, do you think she is really interested in that lame magazine whose pages haven’t turn in the last ten minutes?”
“It is a lame magazine and she is really cute, are you sure she is checking me out?”
“She really is, you should ask her out.”
“You think?” Nothing worse that hearing that from the girl you love.
“Of course you should, it’s been very long since you had a date and people talk.”
“People? Which people?”
“Ok people me, but you should it’s been a long time since you and Dawn broke up.” Dawn was Greg’s ex girlfriend, but more on her later.
“So you think I should.”
“Yeah, you are a catch dude go over there and show her what is good.”Sarah felt weird saying that, it had sounded better in her mind.
“Dude talk?”
“Yeah sorry; anyway I’m going to go now so you ask her out and you tell me about it later, maybe we could even double date.” Ouch.
Sarah took Greg’s doodle and left him thinking he should move on, forget about her and take a chance with someone that could really be interested in him.
Sarah walked away but first she made a stop to tell something to Millie.
“His name is Greg, hi is really good at poker and can almost drink as much tequila as I do; he is my friend and a nice guy plus he is single, see ya.”
“Hum? Thanks, I think.” Millie wasn’t sure what had just happen but something was telling her she didn’t had to feel intimidated about Sarah, which she had been from the time she had started talking to him; it had been a very revealing five seconds.
“Oh god, I’m sorry she never, well no scratch that she really always is like that; but she is not weird, well yeah a bit; but she is… I’m Greg.”
“She said it, hi I’m Millie.” She tossed the magazine under the couch were no one else would see it in a while and rearrange her glasses before standing up.
The both of them smiled and waited for the other one to say something, but just kept smiling.
“Are you a patient here?”
“No I brought my dad, is been mentally unstable a deal breaker for you?”
“I hope it had in the past.” They both laughed. “No I mean I can’t go out with patients.”
“Good thing I’m not a patient then.”
“So you can go out with me.”
“Well it depends.”
“Really? And on what if I may ask.”
“Well you still have to ask me out.”
“Right, sure I forgot.”
“So are you going to ask?”
“I would but now you will be expecting it, no element of surprise now.”
Millie smiled, any other guy would have asked her out already so she was intrigued by Greg.
“So you want some gum?”
“I’m good.”
“Would you want to go out with me.”
“I’m better.”
Millie’s dad appointment took another hour, which Greg and Millie took advantage of like if it was a predate. It was fresh and easy to talk to her, getting to know her, Greg thought people should always have predates before a first date to make the ice breaking easier.
When Mr. Dewitt was ready to leave he rushed out of the office and just told his daughter he was ready to go, he didn’t saw her sitting in the couch with Greg throwing flavored beans to each other’s mouths.
“I’ll see you tonight.” Millie got up and left the office, still she walked away like if she was floating, she tossed her brown hair and when she reached the door she gave Greg a look that made him quiver.
“Well it was a very productive evening don’t you think.” Dr. Weathers always one step back.
“It really was doctor.”
It had been a long day for Roger and Domino. After leaving the animal shelter Roger had decided to dedicate his day to bond with his new friend. He Max and Domino had gone to every pet store to buy all kind of stuff for him.
Max went home eventually and left Roger and Domino to keep the bonding going.
After buying pet supplies Roger thought the best would be to introduce Domino to his new house. The minute the dog entered the house it ran off to find his perfect spot to sleep, despite Roger had already bought a dog house for him that he was planning to install in the back yard.
Domino left puppy paw marks in the stairs and some of the walls, Roger couldn’t understand how he had done that.
Greg’s room was closed and it looked like Domino wanted in, he was sitting outside the door swinging his tail, giving Roger a look to let him in there.
“Sorry dude that one is off limits, come on we’ll open up you doggie treats I’m sure you are hungry.”
Domino ran through the house again, took a piece of clothing that had been left in the floor from quite some time and entered into the kitchen slipping on the floor.
The dog went straight for the forty pound bag of dog food and ripped it open making the food spread all around the kitchen floor; as soon as the happen Domino launched over and started eating all he could. Roger would come to know that Domino ate three times a day.
After eating, a lot actually, Roger and Domino headed out for a walk around the neighborhood so the dog would get used to it.
Roger thought Domino would take it slow after everything he had eaten, which again had been a lot, but there was no stop to him. Domino was running back and forth sniffing and smelling all in his way but still he would come back and bring Roger something a stick, a rock, a kid’s baseball glove and some garbage.
“You are no ordinary dog are you?”
Domino barked. And ran off to chase a cat which was chasing a squirrel. After both of those animals were safe in the top of a tree Domino returned to Roger ready to go home.
“That’s ok, perfect even, come on lets go home.”
When they got back home Domino’s appetite seemed to came back and whit it also his energy. Roger and Domino went to the back yard where he was tossing a very expensive rubber ball type toy he had bought for his dog, when Alex showed up.
“Is that new?”
Domino didn’t seem to mind the tone in which Alex had said it or haw he had refer about him, he just get on digging the hole he was working on behind some bushes.
“Domino.” Roger said proud.
“Domino?” Now the dog felt a little offended.
“Yeah don’t you like it?”
“Fits him, wouldn’t it be easier to go get some?” Alex was always the one to suggest the simplest idea.
“Some some?”
“Dude you know what I mean.”
“I don’t think hooking up with a girl would have solved things.”
“When did some meant one?” Another bright idea.
Alex wasn’t here to see the new dog, actually he wasn’t such a big fan of dogs or any other animal; no Alex was here to tell his oldest friend that he suspected his brother had a problem with drugs.
It wouldn’t be easy; this would be the first time they had to deal with something big, something real something for grownups.
And what if he was wrong? What if Alex was making a big deal about nothing? There would be no taking it back, if he was exaggerating things it could end his friendship with Roger.
But he couldn’t afford to say nothing when he thought he might be right, when he was the only one that knew about this; he had to say something, make it right, and try to fix it.
“Hey Rog.” Now or never.
“Yup”
“We need to talk.”
Domino left the hole he was working on and ran to sit next to Roger, he would need any kind of support right now.
